Sonars for Bass Fishing
Lets
think about it for a minute. Where does most of the Bass fishing take place
in a boat? The bow, of course! So, when purchasing a sonar unit for the
bow, why would you settle for a lower quality sonar unit?
I think, the lower quality unit, should be at the helm. Why, you ask! Well, when on route to my favorite fishing hole I need depth read out and nothing more. When arriving to my destination I glance at the temperature of the water and then proceed to the bow of the boat where I find my trusted better quality sonar.
The moral of this ‘story’ is…. If that is all we need at the helm then save your dollars and purchase a sonar unit of lower quality. Keep the high quality sonar where it will be used!
